Team Lis Smash was founded in 2016 to challenge the status quo of strength training. We welcome people of every gender, sexuality, skin color, religion, shape and size to get strong and smash goals together.
We’re a queer, feminist, gender-affirming space with 2500 sf of powerlifting and strength training equipment including combo racks, power racks, basic and specialty barbells, deadlift platforms, dumbbells, kettlebells, a leg press, cable machines, an aqua bag, a 48-foot strip of turf and more. There’s even a gym cat!
All training is by appointment and we don’t take walk-ins.
There are a few different membership and training options:
-Open Gym access (train yourself!) – $50, 65 or 80 per month (sliding scale, pay what you can) plus a $25 sign-up fee. Open gym training is available by appointment only, from 6am to 10pm daily. A gym tour is required to join.
-Semi-private (training in small groups of up to four Smashers) and private training ranges from $45 to 100 per session. Prices vary by coach and how many sessions you buy.
Our coaches:
♥ Coach Lis offers training Monday through Thursday and Saturdays. Lis also offers distance coaching and programming. Technique / Learn to Lift sessions with Lis : Mondays and Thursdays at 6pm, and Saturdays at 1pm. A 4-pack of technique sessions is $200.
♥ Coach Kellz trains Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday mornings. She also teaches Boxing on Saturdays at 9am. Boxing classes are $25 and capped at 6 people.
♥Coach Alizah has a flexible schedule. She offers personal training and has a weekly HIIT class coming soon.
♥ Coach Sarah trains clients on Mondays and Thursdays. They also teach our Strong(hu)man class on Mondays at 6, and Technique 101 classes on Thursdays at 8 and 9 am.
♥ Coach Cheez offers coaching daily, but please be warned that he is very likely to fall asleep during sessions.
